I wanna go back to the old times.

So, here I am. Currently pursuing my degree in a government university. Its been a long long way ever since I started school. Well, to be honest, I'm not happy. I'm not happy with my University life at all. I'm so much happier when I'm in school. Seriously, I don't know why everyone at the university have to be be so fake. They're so fake that I despise all of them. I can't really mix with anyone. Although I did mix with some friends and all, but all those are just on the surface. NO ONE here makes me wanna know him/her even more. Nobody here suits me, as a friend. I don't know. We just won't click. Some of them are nice, but they're too dull and lame. Some will treat you so good because he wanna get some benefits out of you. Some are so nice on the outside, but would certainly eat you up when you're in his way. I guess that's life huh. I always watch those Americans sitcom, where they always say that college years will be the best time of your life. Certainly not for me. Sometimes, I'm still doubting the guy sleeping in the same room with me. (my roommate) I'm still not sure whether he's a genuine friend or just another wolf in sheep's clothing. Cuz sometimes he's nice and sometimes I just hate him so much. He's weird. Till now I still don't really understand him. That's why I hate my life right now. Everything's a show. Its like I'm putting on a show for myself.

Sigh. 1 and a half years to go my man.

A Passion for Football

"The Ultras are a highly organized group of hardcore football fans with a passion that is legendary. Regardless of whether their team wins or loses, rain or shine, they will chant and cheer on their football team relentlessly, giving everything and stopping only at half time. There's a savage power in their roar. You feel the stadium tremble and shake when they jump simultaneously. The drums echo throughout the stadium and when someone lights a flare it feels like a battlefield, except the smiles tell a different story."
Found this passage on Facebook, and it hits me, in a good way. That's true. I've experienced it myself. We chanted like there's no tomorrow. Its like a battlefield but, like what the photographer said, the smiles tell a different story. Great shot. Check this talented photographer out.

That one night.

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

'Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present .'

Saw this video shared by a friend of mine a few days back. Finally have the time to watch it. (since I slept so early at 8pm) This boy is just amazing. He's just 13 years old and he's now speaking on a Ted X conference sharing his thoughts to the world. His talk was about a new way of education, a new way of thinking, and a new way of life. What he shared, hits me hard. I'm now a student at a local university here in Malaysia. I've been through the traditional schooling system ever since I started schooling. Kindergarten > Primary School > Junior High > High School > Pre-University > and then finally the life-long dream, The University. The system is dead and boring. All we've been through are just academics. Surely as the years gone by, the school will encourage more and more co-curricular activities, and it was told to enhance our every bit of soft skills. But seriously, do you think they give a damn? Now, the question is, can we make that change on ourselves by now? Or is it too late to discover what we really want in our lives?
